Spoiler alert, AI will not save you time unless you spend the time investing how to use it. Otherwise, you end up putting out generic content that actually sounds like AI and overall hurts your reputation of being authentic and genuine, or you have to redo content because it doesn't sound like you, or verifying some of the information it puts out because it might be incorrect, or just redoing work that it comes up with because it's not aligned with your strategy.

So
2:16
some of the clients I work with often struggle with these same AI challenges that I faced early on, and they'll show me their copy they made up, and I can immediately spot that it's aI generated, and it uses some of those overused words, like discover or secret, you know, and they make your audience's eyes just glaze over, because we're so sick of seeing it, not to mention that Whatever AI tool you're using, it doesn't have your brain, your knowledge experience context. So sometimes, if you ask it to create an outline of something, it will include elements or topics that you have no knowledge on. And as someone who wants to show up authentically, you can't possibly deliver that content genuinely. Can you. But here's the thing, it's not all bad news. Doom and gloom. AI isn't failing us, and so the real power comes in understanding what AI can and can't do for your business. So let's break down what AI does excel at. And you probably know that content creation and marketing is where it's most used. So blog posts, outlines and drafts, social media, content creation, email newsletters, even SEO, keyword research and optimization. You've also got administrative tasks, so emailing you know and drafting responses and templates or managing your calendar or organizing documents, data entry and processing, other things a customer experience like you see a lot around other businesses, the FAQ, like chat bots or some other customer service or personalized follow up emails. But it absolutely cannot replace your unique perspective, your lived experience, your strategic thinking and understanding, and that's actually good news, because it means that your expertise is still your most valuable asset, and that's what your audience is showing up for. So learning from programs or mentors or coaches is not a thing of the past. They set you up with the knowledge that you need in order to make ai do the hard work for you. So I'm going to share with you my framework to get AI to actually work for you, to sound like you, to give you the output that you need. So it does save you time. This is going to work for most content that you're creating out there, whether it's outlines or posts, newsletters, all sorts of things. So it has five key steps, and I'm going to put these in the show notes for you. The first is to set the role. So tell the AI tool that you're using exactly how you want it to act, what who you want it to be. So this could be, I want you to be an expert, or you are. You should start with you are and an expert. Facebook, ad.
5:00
Manager or a human Podcast Producer. Now, whatever fits for how you want the AI to be okay, what role you want it to play.
5:11
Step two is to define the task. So you want to be crystal clear about what, what you want it to create. So we're going into the what, not the how. So create a outline for my podcast, or create the copy to go with my Facebook ad, right? So we're just defining the task that we want to complete.
5:32
Next is the tone. So give it specific examples of the voice you're looking for so it could be user, conversational, but professional tone, or create this in the tone similar to and you could insert your favorite big influencer. Okay.
5:52
Then Step four is to define your audience. So we want specific details about your audience, so their pain points, their goals, their position. You know, are they a solopreneur? Are they a coach? Are they a personal trainer, that kind of thing? Give it as many details as you can about your audience, then this is where the magic really happens. Is step five. Is the supporting information? Okay? So give AI all the information it needs to help it to strategically create an output for you. So let's give you give an example of a Facebook ad, right? You've gone through the steps of setting the role you know you want. You'd be an expert Facebook Ads Manager. Define the task, create copy for my Facebook ad. The tone you maybe you're doing conversational what have you the audience is this. Now give it all the information it needs to create it, so the structure how you want it to structure it. So for a Facebook ad, this could be, start with a hook, so a bold statement, or, you know, that defies belief. Okay, then you reveal the real problem. So if you're starting with a statement that says,
7:00
If you believe blah, blah blah, reveal would be revealing the actual problem, right? Then the next one would be consequence of not addressing that problem. So what happens if they continue on the same path? The next step is the desired result for your that your audience wants. Then you introduce your training, your freebie, or whatever it is, your action they're trying to get, you, get them to take, and then obviously your call to action to take that action.
7:27
So that's a structure that I use in my Facebook ads hook, reveal consequence, desired results,
7:33
introducing your, whatever it is, and your call to action. Now in Facebook ads, this is
7:41
the next step I would take.
7:44
I would also include, because this is important in Facebook to make sure that you're not going to get your account shut down. Is this copy must comply with Facebook policy for insert your industry and insert the policy wording. So for example, a lot of changes have happened for wellness, health and wellness industry. So you would say it must comply with Facebook ads policy for the health and wellness industry, which says and insert the policy wording. So that's my framework to getting AI to create content for me. Please use it. It's going to be in the show notes, and input your relevant information into each of those five key areas, no matter what AI tool you're using. But on that note, most people, I think, are using chat GPT. You can use chat GPT for this. It's the most talked about. It's free to a certain point. But I personally use Claude AI for all of my content creation research and everything I do with AI, I find it has a better grasp of context and can maintain a more consistent tone through longer pieces of content and conversations I have with it. So definitely check that out. Put a link in the show notes for you. It's called Claude AI. But if you have been struggling with AI and getting it to work for your business, or maybe you've had some awesome wins that you'd love to share, then I definitely want to hear from you.
